Flush horizontally sliding fire protection gate system EI30 and EI60 as element construction

This gate system is used as gates in a firewall inside buildings. The special feature of this gate is that all elements may be stowed individually in a stowing space next to the gate. The selection of various widths of the elements allow that the required stowing space for the opened gate may be reduced to a minimum. A further advantage compared to ordinary fire protection gate systems is that the gate system as a continuously running system may be opened and closed automatically up to 60 times an hour. This gate comes with an arrest system as standard which is mandatory for this type of gate. This arrest system will close the open gate automatically with an pneumatic energy storage device in case of a fire alarm. In case of an emergecy or in a panic situation the closed gate may be emergency released and opened manually. Due to the solid construction these gates may be produced up to a width of 12 m and up to a height of 4.5 m. Contrary to the horizontally sliding fire protection gate systems as element construction there is next to our design series ESSENTIAL and EXCLUSIVE a much larger variety regarding design as for these type of gates we do not have to take the high requirements of fire protection into consideration. Here all types of materials may be used. In addition we may use an attractive lattice ornamentation in order to be able to aerate the premises with closed gates. As with the fire protection gates it is possible to emergency release the closed gate in case of an emergency or panic situation and to open them manually. In contrary to the fire protection gates these gates may be emergency released in open position and may be closed manually. Due to the solid construction of the gates these gates may be produced up to a width of 12 m and a height of 4.5 m depending on the material used for the single elements.
